New York Times obituary
I was surprised and somewhat saddened to stumble across a mention of the passing of Ursula Le Guin. I first read the Earthsea trilogy when I was in high school, and returned to it (and the continuation in Tehanu and Tales from Earthsea) some years later. I have also picked up a number of her other books from second-hand book sales here and there, and while most of them continue to languish among the stacks of books I haven't found the time to read, I did read The Lathe of Heaven and found its unsettling world sticking in my mind for days afterwards.
A wide, airy hall used for discussion of literature and authors of all kinds.
